ARE YOU CURRENTLY ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS DUE TO COVID-19?
Yes. We can be reached via phone, email, website, and social media. We are practicing Social Distancing by offering No Contact Self Check-In and Self Check-out.
HOW ARE YOU HELPING KEEPS GUESTS SAFE IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19?
No one can predict the future. We follow updated COVID-19 information from the CDC, Federal and State Government, TN Dept. of Health, as well as local governement. We use only EPA-registered disinfectants recommended by the CDC. We have developed new, detailed cleaning policies. Our staff has been fully trained in these procedures. They are provided with PPE and products needed. We are using precautions for guest safety and staff safety.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?
Normal check-in time is 5:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. You do NOT have to come to the Rental Office to check-in or check-out! We offer No-Contact Self Check-in and Self Check-out. You will be provided with a PIN Code and driving directions 1 week prior to arrival.
HAS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY CHANGED SINCE COVID-19?
Yes. We have adopted an Interim Cancellation Policy for new reservations. If you cancel more than 60 days prior to arrival, you will receive a refund of your initial deposit less the processing fee of 5%. Our flexibilities include the option to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking that allows you to CANCEL FOR ANY REASON and still be reimbursed. Check it out!. We offer a large enough discount for those who purchase this that it covers the cost of the insurance and protects your investment. Since the travel insurance without increasing your cost, we are not refunding money if your arrival date is less than 60 days and you chose not to purchase the insurance. The travel insurance is 9.8% of the total reservation, while the discount is 10% off the nightly rate. You enter promo code CFAR at checkout, and we will manually give the discount. If you have another discount, it can still be used at the same time.
Those with existing reservations made prior to March 13, 2020:
If you cancel more than 60 days prior to arrival, you receive a refund less the 5% processing fee. If you cancel 30-60 days prior to arrival, you receive a refund less the processing fee and a $100 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, we will immediately put the property back on the market for rent. There would be a $100 cancellation fee and loss of the processing fee, and the amount of refund would depend on if the property was successfully rented after your cancellation. To minimize your loss of funds, we are offering to allow you to change your reservation date rather than cancel. Your payment will be credited to your account for a future stay to be used within 365 days from the date of "change". Since you have no financial penalty for cancellation, you will not be able to cancel after the "change", and you can only make the change one time.
CAN I USE GPS FOR DIRECTIONS TO THE RENTAL OFFICE?
Not recommended. The cellular signal is up and down in the immediate vicinty of most cabins, so GPS via cell phone is not reliable. Other navigational sources are not reliable to each location. Please print out and follow the written directions provided to you one week prior to arrival.
WHAT AREA OF THE LAKE IS NORRIS LAKE CABIN RENTAL'S LOCATED?
We have properties on the North Side of the Lake which are east of I-75 and off 25W/63E located from Deerfield Resort to Blue Springs Bock Dock, Markers 10-15. We also feature properties on the quieter side - the South side of Norris Lake between Hickory Star Marina and Lone Mountain Boat Dock, Markers 26 -30.
DO YOU HAVE ANY PROPERTIES THAT ALLOW PETS?
YES! There are designated homes that do accept dogs. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per pet.

ARE BED LINENS AND TOWELS SUPPLIED?
Yes. Bed linens are supplied for the number of beds per cabin. One bath towel/wash cloth per person is provided and one dish cloth and dish towel. PLEASE bring swimming towels. There will be a "starter supply" of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, dishsoap, and handsoap provided. This is only a 1 day supply, and it will not be replenished. Please plan accordingly.
HOW FAR IS THE NEAREST GROCERY?
Approximately 30 minutes from most properties. We suggest getting groceries on your way to check in.
IF WE HAVE MORE THAN OUR ALLOTTED GROUP, WILL WE HAVE TO LEAVE?
Yes, our homes are set up to accommodate only the maximum guests that each home can hold. If we are notified by a neighbor that there are more people than the home will accommodate, your group will be asked to vacate the property without a refund of amount paid and your security deposit (if applicable) could be forfeited.
